Meet Jamie, Client Care Specialist/Veterinary Assistant

Jamie has been around animals all of her life and has a love for them all. She moved to Oklahoma in 2012 from Illinois, where she grew up on a crop and animal farm. She started volunteering at an animal shelter at an early age and later began taking lessons and volunteering at an equine rescue. Because she lived on a farm, Jamie has had a wide variety of pets including pigs, cats, snakes, parakeets, hamsters, dogs, ducks, chickens, turtles, iguanas, ferrets, fish, and even two raccoons! Her hobbies include drawing, painting, going to concerts, quilting for charity at a local church, horseback riding, and spending time with her family and friends. Jamie is proud to call Oklahoma City her home, along with her husband and pets.

Meet Anjelica, Client Care Specialist

Anjelica has been working at Edmond East Animal Hospital as our Client Care Specialist since the day we first opened our doors. She spent several years as an active duty member in the United States Navy. Her last tour brought her to Oklahoma where she instantly fell in love with the kindness of the people and growth of the economy. She is originally from Cleveland, Ohio but has resided in the Edmond area since 2010. Anjelica has two beautiful daughters who constantly keep her on her toes. When she is not working she enjoys volunteering, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her family.

Anjelica

Meet Sarah, Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Since she was a young girl, Sarah has wanted to work in veterinary medicine. Her love of animals, and her desire to take care of them led her to major in veterinary technology at Murray State College in Tishomingo. Sarah loves providing excellent care to pets and friendly customer service to pet owners. Her favorite part about working at the hospital is providing dental cleanings to our four-legged patients. In her free time, Sarah loves to spend time with family and friends, be in the great outdoors hunting and horseback riding, and she’s got a knack for digital drawing.

Sarah Dyer

Meet Jessica, Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Jessica has been with the Edmond East team since December 2017. She loves being a part of our family-oriented practice and being an advocate for her patients. Jessica is highly organized and her favorite part of working with us is having the opportunity to grow and learn new things every day. She attended Oklahoma State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. She obtained her associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology from Tulsa Community College. When she is not at work, Jessica enjoys relaxing at home with her husband and their many fur kids.

Meet Jeanna, Veterinary Technician

Jeanna has always loved animals and making a difference in someone’s life. She chose her career in veterinary medicine because it allows her to do both. Jeanna feels that every day brings a new and interesting experience and she enjoys the family-oriented work environment at Edmond East Animal Hospital. It’s extremely fulfilling for her to be able to work with all kinds of animals and make their lives better and longer. One of Jeanna’s favorite tasks as a veterinary technician is performing radiography, a job for which she has a special talent. Jeanna and her husband, Daniel, together have five children and three grandchildren.

Jeanna

Meet McAuley, Veterinary Technician

McAuley became a part of the Edmond East team in September 2018. She attended Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City, where she earned her Veterinary Technology degree in Applied Sciences. Choosing to work in veterinary medicine came naturally to McAuley, who grew up on a 20-acre farm with various animal species. In 2016 she got to help deliver piglets at the State Fair, and in 2017 she helped deliver Golden Retriever puppies. Her favorite aspect of working with us is communicating with our clients and letting them know it’s our job to care for their pets as if they were our own. Some of McAuley’s favorite tasks as a technician include placing IV catheters and doing laboratory work.
