Meet Lori, Hospital Director
Lori joined our team in May 2020. She attended the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, and the University of Central Oklahoma. She holds a Business Degree from OSU and is currently working on obtaining her accounting certification and CPA eligibility at UCO. In her role at Edmond East Animal Hospital, she loves working with such a high-performance team! Lori also enjoys helping Dr. Johnson run the business side of the practice, so he can focus on the medical side. Lori has two children, Summer and Spencer. Outside of work, Lori is a group fitness instructor and enjoys teaching yoga classes.

Meet Tana, Lead Client Care Specialist
Tana loves people and strives to bring joy to everyone she meets. Customer service and positive attitude are what she is known for doing well in the work place. She attended OCCC & Central State Beauty Academy in Cosmetology. Tana has a daughter, Jordan, son-in-law, Ragan, a son, Brennan, a grandson, Nathan, and a granddaughter, Collins. She enjoys playing with her grandbabies, gardening, and any outdoor adventure. She is, by far, the most proud of raising her children and grandchildren.

Meet Kim, Client Care Specialist
Kim joined us part-time after nearly 20 years in the Veterinary field. She started as a high school junior to have the opportunity to work with animals and have a paycheck. She enjoys building relationships with people and their pets and helping people. Kim is married with 3 children and likes to spend time with them and her grandchildren. She also likes to garden, pottery, photography, cook, eat, serve at church, Bible studies and read her Bible. Her special talent is wheel thrown pottery and she can also rope a steer.

Meet Aubri, Client Care Specialist/Veterinary Assistant
Aubri is a hard worker with a positive attitude. Her favorite aspect of working at Edmond East Animal Hospital is TEAMWORK and having a good work environment. She previously attended the University of Central Oklahoma to study Criminal Justice and is now attending OSU-OKC to become a Registered Veterinary Technician . Aubri enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and dog as well as studying. You can also find her working at The Mule in downtown Edmond.

Meet Darla, Client Care Specialist
Darla absolutely loves people and animals and is a cheerful and hard worker. She was a former NFL and CFL cheerleader in Baltimore for 3 years, served in multiple customer service roles and homeschooled her two sons, Max (23) and Zach (21). Darla has been married to her husband, Mark, for 25 years. She enjoys spending time with her husband, kids or animals. Darla also ran her first 5K (and 2 more) this year, loves to read and sit by a fire.

Meet Heather, Lead Technician/Registered Veterinary Technician
Heather is known for her love, care and compassion towards God's creatures as well as her seriousness shown toward the huge responsibility of providing quality care. She earned an A.S. in Biology from Morgan Community College and an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology. Heather chose her career path because she is a caregiver at heart and enjoys the fulfillment of caring for pets. In her spare time, she makes handmade pottery (wheel thrown and hand built), hiking, traveling (especially internationally), listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.

Meet Ashley, Registered Veterinary Technician
Ashley attended Oklahoma State University – Stillwater where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agribusiness. She also earned an associate degree from Oklahoma State University – Oklahoma City in veterinary technology and another Bachelor of Science in animal science from West Texas A&M. Ashley became an RVT in 2018 and is also RECOVER certified in both Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support. One of the most interesting experiences in Ashley’s career was traveling to Mongolia to help train veterinarians and technicians there. In her current role, Ashley enjoys applying the knowledge she learned in school and also working with such a close team. Forming relationships with clients is a priority for her as well!
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her church family and reading. She also plays the oboe in her church orchestra and is a part of the Christian Veterinary Mission.

Meet Christina, Registered Veterinary Technician
Christina joined our Edmond East team part-time in May 2021. She earned a bachelor's in Biology from the University of Colorado and an associate degree in Veterinary Technology from Penn Foster. She holds a Fear Free Certification, Recover Certification as well as being State and National Board Registered Veterinary Technician Certified. Christina really enjoys developing relationships with our patients and their families and educating our clients about their fur babies. She and her husband, Cody, are proud to be the parents of 2 amazing kids, Chase (7) and Isabella (2).

Meet Kaelyn, Technician
Kaelyn joined Edmond East Animal Hospital to further her knowledge and experience within a veterinary hospital. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in biological science, which combines her love for both science and animals. Her goal is to apply to veterinary school and realize her goal of becoming a veterinarian. Kaelyn enjoys the many surprises of veterinary medicine and has had her share of interesting experiences, including helping a cow give birth. When she has the opportunity, Kaelyn would like to open a shelter for animals, along with her own veterinary hospital.

Meet Angela, Veterinary Assistant
Angela recently graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.S. degree in Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics. She previously graduated from Johnson & Whales University with an A.S. in Baking and Pastry Arts. Angela loves animals and is excited to apply her medical education to animal medicine. She is considering obtaining her Veterinary Technician degree as well. Angela is also a Certified Personal Trainer and enjoys all aspects of nutrition and fitness.

Meet Shelby, Veterinary Assistant
Shelby looks forward to helping and educating our pet parents about their fur (and non-fur) babies. She also loves working with Veterinarians and learning from them. Shelby graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. degree in Agriculture and majored in Animal Science. She previously worked as a Veterinary Assistant at Tender Care Animal Hospital in Nebraska. Her ultimate goal is to be a Veterinarian. Shelby enjoys reading and volunteering in her spare time. She's even had the opportunity to volunteer at the Tulsa and OKC birthing centers at the State Fairs.

Meet Lindsey, Veterinary Assistant
Lindsey was in the veterinary medicine field for 12 years as a Veterinary Assistant before joining our team. She is married to husband, Tommy, and has 2 children, Tailor (18 years old) and Mazzy (7 years old). They are a huge movie family and enjoy taking car trips to new places. Lindsey also enjoys painting/drawing, bird watching, rock hounding and cooking. She really likes learning all the Oklahoma birds and birds have become some of her favorite things.

Meet Paige, Veterinary Assistant
Paige is finishing up her prerequisites for Animal Science at Oklahoma City Community College and will attend Oklahoma State University in the Fall of 2023. She chose this path because she loves working with animals and helping wherever she can. Paige enjoys reading, playing with all of her animals and riding her horse in her spare time. Her favorite aspect of working at Edmond East Animal Hospital is seeing clients walk out with a happy, healthy pet.

Meet Lauren, Veterinary Assistant
Lauren's life-long dream is to become a Veterinarian. She is participating in the Edmond Public School Professional Internship Program to gain exposure and insight to the veterinary world. Lauran plans on attending Oklahoma State University to earn a bachelor's degree in Zoology and ultimately DVM. She was a competitive gymnast for 11 years and can play viola. She also placed 1st at the state FFA Veterinary Science competition and was Grand Champion of the Junior Market Broilers at the 2020 Tulsa State Fair. Lauren enjoys reading, going on walks and spending time with her family in her spare time.
