Meet Lori, CVPM, Hospital Director

Lori joined our team in May 2020. She attended the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, and the University of Central Oklahoma. She holds a Business Degree from OSU and obtained her accounting certification and CPA eligibility at UCO.  In her role at Edmond East Animal Hospital, she loves working with such a high-performance team! Lori also enjoys helping Dr. Johnson run the business side of the practice, so he can focus on the medical side. Lori has two children, Summer and Spencer. Outside of work, Lori enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, going to the gym and watching her son play baseball.

Meet Tana, Lead Client Care Specialist

Tana loves people and strives to bring joy to everyone she meets.  Customer service and positive attitude are what she is known for doing well in the work place. She attended OCCC & Central State Beauty Academy in Cosmetology.  Tana has a daughter, Jordan, son-in-law, Ragan, a son, Brennan, a grandson, Nathan, and a granddaughter, Collins. She enjoys playing with her grandbabies, gardening, and any outdoor adventure.  She is, by far, the most proud of raising her children and grandchildren.

Meet Kim, Client Care Specialist

Kim joined us part-time after nearly 20 years in the Veterinary field.  She started as a high school junior to have the opportunity to work with animals and have a paycheck.  She enjoys building relationships with people and their pets and helping people.  Kim is married with 3 children and likes to spend time with them and her grandchildren.  She also likes to garden, pottery, photography, cook, eat, serve at church, Bible studies and read her Bible.  Her special talent is wheel thrown pottery and she can also rope a steer.

Meet Darla, Client Care Specialist

Darla absolutely loves people and animals and is a cheerful and hard worker.  She was a former NFL and CFL cheerleader in Baltimore for 3 years, served in multiple customer service roles and homeschooled her two sons, Max (23) and Zach (21).  Darla has been married to her husband, Mark, for 25 years.  She enjoys spending time with her husband, kids or animals.  Darla also ran her first 5K (and 2 more) this year, loves to read and sit by a fire.

Meet Heather, Registered Veterinary Technician

Heather is known for her love, care and compassion towards God's creatures as well as her seriousness shown toward the huge responsibility of providing quality care. She earned an A.S. in Biology from Morgan Community College and an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology.  Heather chose her career path because she is a caregiver at heart and enjoys the fulfillment of caring for pets.  In her spare time, she makes handmade pottery (wheel thrown and hand built), hiking, traveling (especially internationally), listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.

Meet Christina, Registered Veterinary Technician

Christina joined our Edmond East team part-time in May 2021. She earned a bachelor's in Biology from the University of Colorado and an associate degree in Veterinary Technology from Penn Foster. She holds a Fear Free Certification, Recover Certification as well as being State and National Board Registered Veterinary Technician Certified. Christina really enjoys developing relationships with our patients and their families and educating our clients about their fur babies. She and her husband, Cody, are proud to be the parents of 2 amazing kids, Chase and Isabella.

Meet Angela, Veterinary Assistant

Angela recently graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.S. degree in Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics.  She previously graduated from Johnson & Whales University with an A.S. in Baking and Pastry Arts. Angela loves animals and is excited to apply her medical education to animal medicine. She is considering obtaining her Veterinary Technician degree as well.  Angela is also a Certified Personal Trainer and enjoys all aspects of nutrition and fitness.

Meet Lindsey, Veterinary Assistant/Inventory Manager

Lindsey was in the veterinary medicine field for 12 years as a Veterinary Assistant before joining our team.  She is married to husband, Tommy, and has 2 children, Tailor and Mazzy.  They are a huge movie family and enjoy taking car trips to new places.  Lindsey also enjoys painting/drawing, bird watching, rock hounding and cooking.  She really likes learning all the Oklahoma birds and birds have become some of her favorite things.

Meet Lesly, Veterinary Assistant

Lesly is currently attending OSU-OKC with plans to transfer to OSU in Stillwater.  She is working on her associates degree in Pre-Professional Studies and then wants to work on her degree in Animal Science or Zoology.  Lesly has always loved animals and wanted to be a Veterinarian.  She enjoys working with our clients and learning new things everyday.  Lesly can play the piano and she plays with her dogs, studies and does some photography in her spare time.

Meet Madison, Veterinary Assistant

Madison has an Associate degree in Psychology from Rose State and is working on her Bachelor degree in Biomedical sciences at UCO.  She is a member of the Pre-Vet club at UCO and is pursuing a career in veterinary medicine so that she can care for animals.  Madison likes to eat at different restaurants, bowl, hang out with her friends and volunteer in her spare time.  She graduated high school with a 4.0, won awards for academic excellence as well as awards for community service such as 20+ hours of service to help combat hunger in Oklahoma.
