Yessica Veterinary Assistant

Yessica, Veterinary Assistant

Yessica joined the practice as a Veterinary Assistant in September 2026. She is currently pursuing her Veterinary Technician degree through Penn Foster and is working toward becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). With a lifelong love of animals, Yessica chose a career in veterinary medicine because she wants to make sure every pet receives the care, compassion, and attention they deserve.

Yessica especially enjoys interacting with patients, listening to clients’ concerns, and helping address their needs. She looks forward to learning from the experienced team around her while continuing to build her skills and knowledge. She has also had the opportunity to work with exotic animals, an experience that has helped broaden her appreciation for the many different species that may need veterinary care.

At home, Yessica has a Schnauzer named Shaggy. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the gym and shopping. She has played soccer since seventh grade and is proud to continue pursuing a sport she loves. She also discovered a passion for making bouquets last year and has enjoyed watching that creative hobby grow.

Yessica’s favorite animal is the dolphin, and one of the most amazing places she has visited is Mazatlán, Mexico. If she had a million dollars, she would love to travel and purchase her dream home. Her favorite movie is The Polar Express.
