Kimberly Veterinary Assistant
Kimberly joined the Edmond East team in December 2025 and brings both compassion and enthusiasm to her role as a Veterinary Assistant. She earned her Associate’s Degree in General Arts from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and has loved building meaningful connections with both patients and clients ever since.
Her passion for veterinary medicine stems from her lifelong love of animals — especially cats! One of her most memorable experiences in the field was assisting with an endoscopic procedure to remove a stuck popsicle stick — a moment that perfectly highlights how every day in veterinary medicine can bring something new and unexpected.
At home, Kimberly has two beloved cats: a calico named Starla Leighann and a white cat named Orion Pax. When she’s not at work, she enjoys playing video games, practicing archery, and watching documentaries. She’s especially fascinated by snow leopards and clouded leopards, and her favorite movie is Interstellar.
Kimberly is also proud of overcoming a major brain surgery at 17 years old — an experience that shaped her resilience and strength. One of the most amazing places she’s visited is New Mexico, where she was captivated by the breathtaking night sky free from light pollution.
Kimberly loves meeting new pets, learning their personalities, and building relationships with her coworkers and clients each day. She looks forward to continuing to grow in the veterinary field while providing exceptional care to every patient she meets.
