Alyshia Veterinary Assistant

Alyshia Thomas has always had a deep love and respect for animals, which inspired her to pursue a career where she could make a meaningful difference in their lives. She earned her Veterinary Assisting Certificate from Community Care College in Tulsa and is passionate about being a voice and advocate for animals in need. She is currently enrolled at Murray State College to become a Registered Veterinary Technician.

Alyshia finds the most rewarding part of her career to be the bonds she builds with both patients and clients, helping them feel supported and cared for every step of the way. Outside of work, she enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons and video games on her PlayStation 5, as well as painting, gardening, and spending time at the gym.

At home, Alyshia shares her life with her beloved cat, Constantine, a handsome domestic shorthair. She considers overcoming an abusive relationship and homelessness to be her greatest life accomplishment—a testament to her strength, compassion, and perseverance.
